I'm in the Woodlands, Just north of Houston. My daughter is in Austin at UT, now. That's why I'm looking for the bigger bike.
BTW, they finished assembling the V-Star 1100 and it is a beautiful bike. If I can figure out that I can afford it, I think I'm going to get it.
There was a nice Road Star, used with 600 mile. I think that the 1100 may actually have some better performance characteristics (lighter so it
is a little faster/quicker although I will never
go top speed). I also like the fact that the
engine is an older, well proven engine(used in the
the Virago).
The 1100 appears to be the bike. Maybe I'll come
across a used machine that I can jump at a little
quicker
